CAN YOU REPAIR MY SYSTEM 

• If parts for your system are commercially available then we can repair your system. If parts are obsolete we may be able to use substitute parts to get your system operational.

CAN YOU REPAIR DURING FIRST APPOINTMENT

• Our staff carry refrigerant and common parts suitable for a range of systems. If your system has lost its refrigerant charge then yes we can carry out repair works subject to approval during the first appointment. If unit specific parts are required we will provide a quotation for further repairs.

CAN YOU ATTEND LATE EVENING OR SATURDAYS

• This service can be arranged however will attract a small surcharge

I HAVE BEEN TOLD I NEED TO REPLACE MY SYSTEM

• Many businesses will tell you to replace the system as they lack the repair expertise required or simply want to make more money. While it is true that depending on the problem it may be more economical to replace the unit, in our experience replacement is seldom required.

I HAVE A SECOND HAND SYSTEM CAN YOU INSTALL

• Unfortunately we cannot install purchased second hand systems. Not knowing the history of a unit particularly how it was decommissioned and or stored makes the process extremely risky for both parties.

CAN AN ELECTRICIAN INSTALL MY UNIT

• Electricians can hold a certificate II split system licence to install units however they cannot warrant them for faulty workmanship. All licenced businesses are required by law to provide a workmanship warranty to cover the consumer for faulty workmanship. If an electrician installs a system and it leaks the refrigerant out, the electrician is not licensed to either purchase the refrigerant or repair the system and must engage a licensed air conditioning contractor to complete the work. In our experience this seldom happens with most of the time customers reporting they could not contact the installer or they never returned. We are fully licensed under both ARC AU46677, L153020 and QBCC licence 1191720. Copies are available on request.
